Our Purpose and Mission Statement

New Hope Christian Academy (NHCA) in Thomasville, North Carolina is a private school offering a solid, Christian based education to students in Kindergarten through 12th grade. Since our founding as a home school in 1995, we have experienced growth each year and now offer a complete Kindergarten through 12th grade program.

Our mission is to provide our students and families with a Christ-centered educational environment, to evangelize the lost, and help each student develop a love of God, an appreciation for learning, and the desire to achieve their personal academic best by striving to meet their individual needs.

New Hope does not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, economic status or religious beliefs. Students are admitted on the basis of a personal interview, review of records and the leading of the Holy Spirit.

We have been blessed to work successfully for over 20 years with a variety of students, from those challenged with Attention Deficit Disorders (ADD), to Academically Gifted children. We are always mindful that to God each student is precious, and are humbled to be a part of God’s plan for their lives.

In addition to our “brick and mortar” school, God led us to expand our services to reach more students via our Online Academy. This has been an exciting leap of faith for NHCA, and it is gratifying to see how God is already using this new form of education to help students and parents.
